To move a single structure, place a marker at the proposed structure location.
Select the ‘Structure Move’ button from the Linear Draft toolbar and follow the prompt to select a structure. This should be the structure that you want to move.
Once a structure is selected, follow the prompt to select a marker. Select the marker you have previously placed.
Once the marker has been selected, you will be prompted to select the left and right rails.
In the example shown below, the structure is a TTC and will span across both tracks. Once the right rail has been confirmed, the ‘Edit Structure’ from will be displayed, allowing you to make further edits to the structure.
N.B. Using ‘Structure Move’ will not automatically update the chainage value. This will need to be adjusted manually. The RECOS will be calculated from the centre of the placed marker, if this is incorrect then update the RECOS on the 'Edit Structure' form.
Once any further edits (if any) are complete, click 'Confirm' to place the structure in the new location.
The structure is now located in the new location. All wires and equipment associated with the structure will be copied across. Easting, northing, bearing, span & versines will all be automatically updated.
