Licensed users of Linear Draft are able to install multiple design catalogues. This gives users the ability to work on a project where the requirements dictate that there are to be 2 or more design ranges within a model.
Each catalogue is required to be installed independently and once they are loaded, they will be displayed on the Linear Draft 'About' form (see example image below).
The example above shows that there are 2 separate design catalogues installed. The user will then be able to place steelwork from either catalogue as well as being able to select wires and equipment from each catalogue.
N.B. Only wires, equipment and steelwork from the same design catalogue can be chosen together. You are not able to place steelwork from one design catalogue and then attach wires or equipment to it using a different design catalogue unless a specific link between catalogues has been requested and added to your catalogues.
If the user only requires one of the design catalogues for their project, then they can simply un-check the catalogue that they do not need and continue with their work rather than uninstalling it completely.
Unticking a design catalogue will remove the associated items, making them unavailable in the selection options.
If a catalogue has been previously unchecked it will be unavailable within your design. If you require the catalogue to become available once again, re-check the catalogue on the 'About' form.
